Some of you may struggle with your beards since all the salons are closed. However, we’re here to help you. We’re going to share our best advice on how to take care of your beard, keep it healthy, and keep it simple.

There’re 4 easy steps you can follow to take care of your skin and beard:

Exfoliation

Exfoliate your skin once a week, it helps to removes dead skin, and boost blood circulation. A healthy skin will facilitate growth. But be careful of what you’re using! Only use an exfoliant adapted to your skin and beard and don’t brushes as it can creates micro tears, damage the skin and accelerate skin aging.

Cleansing

Cleanse your skin daily – have a look at the 60 seconds cleansing rule. A simple and effective method invented by Nayamka Roberts-Smith also known as LABeautyologist on social media.

How to wash your face effectively: the 60 seconds rule

It’s important to wash your beard with a special beard shampoo at least 3 times a week. This will help to get rid of impurities and cleanse thoroughly.

Brushing

Brush your beard as often as possible, in the direction of hair growth. Use a special brush. Be aware that regularly brushing your beard also speeds up its growth by stimulating the hair at its root.

Moisturizing

Another important step to take care of your beard is to moisturize your skin and your beard.

For your beard use oils, cream and serums suitable to your beards. This will improve growth and nourish your beard. Take the opportunity to massage your skin and allow the product to work its way deep into your skin.

Another tip to help your beard growth is to let it grow naturally. Don’t shave or trim it. Trimming your beard to help it grow is a myth. Be patient 😉
