BACKGROUND

I like to be around people and get to know others. And I love to make people feel good about themselves. The ultimate skills that come handy when one is a professional hairdresser I guess.

I started my studies at university, but a hairdresser in the US inspired me so much that I got fascinated with the industry and decided to do a training to become a hairdresser. For a while, I worked as an assistant in a hair salon and I just LOVED everything about the salon environment. No day is ever boring. And it’s all about glamour and creativity. I was hooked and decided to leave my university studies behind and pursue the path of becoming a professional hairdresser and colour specialist. It’s a decision I haven’t regretted ever since.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

I believe in life-long learning and consider myself to be a student for life. I spent some time in Vancouver, Canada, where I educated myself further and went for an extensive training experience that covered every area of hairdressing. We dug deep into the nitty gritty of hair colour, cuts, styling, and all sorts of chemical treatments. That training has served as a wonderful base for all the things I’ve learnt ever since.

AREA OF EXPERTISE

Hair colouring, hair colouring, hair colouring! My favourite is Balayage – I just love this combination of foils and freehand technique that creates a natural, subtle and unique result for each client. I also love working with short hair. And more recently, I underwent an all-encompassing training on hair extensions which is a specialist area of expertise that I’m proud to add to my skill set.

Olaplex, because it protects the hair during a chemical procedure and rebuilds the natural bonds inside the hair. Goldwell’s Kerasilk treatment is a client favourite at Figaro London for a good reason: you can keep your waves/curls and make your hair smooth and easy-to-manage. Hair oils are the holy grail of hair care. A good-quality hair oil is something I encourage my clients to invest in.
