Great news: Figaro London is preparing for a reopening on 12th April 2021.

We’re thrilled, pleased, excited and all of those emotions … and can’t wait to welcome you back. We’re now preparing for the big day, making sure that the salon is Covid-safe and finalising team availabilities. Make sure to book your appointment.

We have a feeling it’s going to get busy!

To ensure everyone’s safety, we’ll implement new strict hygiene measures. We invite you to read the complete list here before coming to your appointment, to make sure you are well informed of what these measures consist of. 😊

Clients

• Wear a mask. You can come to the salon with your own mask or you can purchase one in the salon.
• Keep your hands clean. Soap and hand sanitiser will be available at all times.
• Social distancing. There will be no waiting area in the salon to avoid close contact between clients.
• Pre-booked appointments only (no walk-ins).
• You will be asked to come to your appointment alone (if possible) to facilitate social distancing.
• No drinks will be served.
• Payment will be cashless only. You will have two options: card payment or pre-payment online.
• As a legal requirement, we also need to keep a 21 days record of staff and customers contact details to ensure everyone’s safety and to comply with NHS Test & Trace.

Hairdressers

• They wear visors and aprons. Depending on the service, they also wear gloves.
• Gloves are changed and hands washed after every customer.
• Their availability is limited to honour social distancing.
• They respect the cleaning and disinfection measures below.
• They are “Barbicide COVID-19” trained and certified, and have also completed the WHO’s training on how to put on and remove PPE safely.
• They will be regularly tested in line with the new government guidelines for your and their protection. 

Beauticians

• They wear visors, masks, aprons and gloves.
• Gloves are changed and hands washed after every customer.
• Their availability is limited to honour social distancing.
• They respect the cleaning and disinfection measures below.
• They are “Barbicide COVID-19” trained and certified, and have also completed the WHO’s training on how to put on and remove PPE safely.
• They will be regularly tested in line with the new government guidelines for your and their protection. 

Cleaning and disinfection

• All surfaces and work stations are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. This includes furniture, door handles, light switches, etc.
• For your safety, there is a minimum 15 minutes gap between clients.
• Equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after each treatment. Tools are sterilised with a UV germicidal lamp.
• Magazines will be temporarily removed since they cannot be disinfected. This includes e-magazines for now.
• Single-use, sustainable paper towels are used instead of our regular towels.
• All products and chairs are cleaned and disinfected after every client.
• We improved our ventilation system.

We are at all times relying on the government, the NHS and Public Health England’s guidelines, and we are following the National Hairdressing Federation and BABTAC for industry-specific recommendations.
