Silver hair: certainly a huge hit at the mo and ladies of all ages are rocking it. We’ve had the chance to create a few gorgeous grey hair crowns in the past few months. Here’s one of our favourites.

Grey is an intermediate colour between black and white. It is a neutral or achromatic colour, meaning literally that it is a colour “without colour.” Creating a silky silver grey on your hair is therefore a challenge, no matter what your original and/or current hair colour. It takes real expertise to create, so it’s a colour choice you should definitely want to leave to an expert!

Very recently, Tunde, our hair colourist created a funky look that we wanted to show you.

Icy silver hair is a great colour choice for blondes because it’s something new, it’s something fresh and fun, without 100% commitment. It lifts the regular blonde into another dimension:

The look has many different cool shades that complement each other seamlessly. The contrast between the darker base and  the brighter crown results in a multi dimensional, lived in colour that’s not too high maintenance and very edgy and funky.

Maintaining a silver hair colour is certainly more challenging. However, with the right sort of shade choice and an attentive aftercare regime, you can maintain it for up to 4 to 5 weeks without the need to see your hairdresser.

Want to embrace the silver colour trend but not sure which shade would suit you? Contact us and book a free consultation with one of our colorists.

Life isn’t black and white, it’s a million shades of grey.

Love, Figaro London
